Saudi King Abdulaziz International Quran Competition Final Jury Hears 22 Contestants on Day 3

The final jury of the Saudi King Abdulaziz International Quran Competition heard the recitations of 22 contestants on Tuesday, the third day of the competition. The competition is being held in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, and is open to contestants from around the world.

The jury, which is composed of renowned Quran scholars and reciters, is responsible for selecting the top 10 contestants, who will compete in the final round on Thursday. The winner of the competition will receive a prize of one million Saudi riyals (about $266,000).

On Tuesday, the jury heard the recitations of contestants from a variety of countries, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Morocco, and Indonesia. The contestants recited from different parts of the Quran, including the Fatiha, the Surah of the Cow, and the Surah of Mary.

The jury is expected to complete its deliberations on Wednesday, and the top 10 contestants will be announced on Thursday. The final round of the competition will be held on Thursday evening at the Grand Mosque in Mecca.
