Simon Mayle, Marketing Manager, highlighted the event's significance, with a substantial increase in appointments between luxury travel suppliers and high-end travel buyers compared to the previous year.
A special focus was placed on the award-winning Jumeirah Group, known for landmark hotels such as Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, and Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai, among others. The Jumeirah Group recently opened Jumeirah at Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi, its first property in the UAE's capital.
This property features 382 guestrooms and suites, 199 fully-serviced residences, numerous restaurants and bars, the Talise Spa, and one of Abu Dhabi's largest conference centers. It boasts a modern contemporary design with Italian marble, hand-tufted carpets, and photographic artworks depicting 1960s Abu Dhabi.
Looking ahead to 2012, the Jumeirah Group is set to manage the luxury Grand Hotel Via Veneto in Rome, marking its first venture into the city. The property will be rebranded as Jumeirah Grand Hotel Via Veneto, Rome.

The Jumeirah Group has ambitious plans with six new hotels scheduled to open in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, the Maldives, Mallorca, Baku, and Kuwait in the next nine months. In addition to luxury hotels, the Jumeirah Group operates luxury serviced residences, spa brand Talise, Jumeirah Restaurants, Wild Wadi Waterpark, The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management, and the global loyalty program Sirius.
