Minor Hotels, a global leader in the hospitality industry, has announced its partnership to establish an exquisite 270-room resort under the esteemed Anantara brand in Trojena. This unique year-round mountain destination is nestled within the futuristic city of NEOM in Saudi Arabia.
Positioned at the heart of NEOM and set 50 km from the Gulf of Aqaba coast, Trojena boasts elevations up to 2,600m. It's poised to become the Gulf's inaugural outdoor ski resort, hosting world-class sporting events and redefining luxury living and travel experiences as a global haven for well-being.
Surrounded by a picturesque mountain landscape and enveloped by nature, the upcoming Anantara resort will be situated in Trojena's Water Village, an integral part of the Valley Cluster within Trojena.
Currently in its development stage, The Valley encompasses three exceptional projects, anchored by a sprawling 2.8km-long artificial freshwater lake. The Water Village, within this district, will present exclusive residential, hospitality, and commercial offerings, creating an exclusive and lavish resort-living destination.
Tailoring bespoke travel experiences for discerning explorers with diverse interests, Anantara's facilities will encompass an expansive Anantara Spa, a mesmerizing infinity pool providing panoramic mountain and lake views, an observation deck for stargazing, and even an outdoor cinema.
Further features include a sports and activity pavilion that will host a wide array of leisure activities like padel tennis, camel and horseback riding, and guided walks around the lake and mountainous areas, according to a statement by Minor Hotels.
The resort will offer convenient helicopter access via its own on-site helipad. In addition, the property will provide spaces for meetings and events, catering to corporate gatherings and special occasions.
