Qatar Airways is embarking on a significant expansion of its US operations, introducing new flights to New York, enhancing service to Philadelphia, and strengthening its partnership with Alaska Airlines. Starting October 30th, Qatar Airways will elevate its daily flights to New York (JFK) from two to three, offering passengers greater flexibility and access to over 80 destinations across the Middle East, Africa, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. This expansion is further complemented by Qatar Airways' collaboration with JetBlue, facilitating seamless connections for travelers from cities like Detroit, Raleigh-Durham, Orlando, and Tampa to global destinations such as Doha, Kathmandu, Bangkok, and Johannesburg.
The airline's strategic partnership with American Airlines is also set to evolve, with American Airlines launching flights from its Philadelphia hub to Doha, commencing October 28th. This collaboration opens up an array of travel options for passengers, connecting them to over 90 cities across North America, the Caribbean, Central America, as well as more than 80 cities in Africa, the Middle East, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.
Furthermore, Qatar Airways and Alaska Airlines are expanding their codeshare agreement, enhancing connectivity for passengers from the West Coast and allowing them to access more destinations via Alaska Airlines' booking platform.
