Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) has inked two momentous strategic partnerships with prominent Riyadh-based sports clubs: Al-Nassr Football Club (FC) and Al-Hilal Saudi Football Club (SFC).
Spanning two decades, each strategic alliance is valued at $26.6 million (SAR 100 million) annually per club, marking the most substantial commitment in the annals of both clubs and ranking among the region's largest partnerships. This visionary collaboration, spanning from 2022 to 2042, will undergo review at five-year intervals.
Elevating Sports Investment The far-reaching strategic alliance encompasses a plethora of advantages for both clubs and Qiddiya, further bolstering sports investment prospects in Asia, particularly the Middle East. This undertaking solidifies Qiddiya's trajectory to become the ultimate hub for Entertainment, Sports & Culture in the future.
Upon the anticipated completion of Qiddiya's cliff-top stadium, boasting a capacity of over 40,000 seats, this groundbreaking partnership designates the stadium as the future home ground for both teams. Additionally, the comprehensive array of sporting facilities being developed will be at the disposal of both Al-Nassr FC and Al-Hilal SFC. The formal signing ceremony transpired at the Experience Center, with Abdullah bin Nasser Aldawood, Qiddiya's managing director, alongside Musalli AlMuammar, Chairman of Al-Nassr FC, and Fahad bin Nafal, Chairman of Al-Hilal SFC, underscoring the historical event.
Abdullah Aldawood affirmed, "This strategic partnership aligns seamlessly with our company's vision to foster the broader sports industry in Saudi Arabia.
