His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Emir of Jazan Province, dedicated the weekly session on Wednesday to reviewing the efforts of the Heritage Authority in the region.

The session was attended by the Governor of Jazan Province, Prince Mohammed bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Director General of the Heritage Authority, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Khodr.

During the session, Dr. Al-Khodr presented a report on the Authority's efforts in the region, including:

• The restoration of several historical sites, including the Al-Khokha Castle, the Al-Muzahim Palace, and the Al-Alam Palace.
• The excavation of several archaeological sites, including the Al-Khokha archaeological site and the Al-Jazan archaeological site.
• The organization of several cultural events, including the Jazan Heritage Festival and the Jazan International Folk Dance Festival.

Prince Muhammad bin Nasser praised the Authority's efforts in preserving the region's heritage and culture. He urged the Authority to continue its work to promote the region's rich history and traditions.
