History of National Day: Saudi National Day commemorates the historic unification of the Kingdom of Najd and Hijaz in 1932, leading to the formation of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of King Abdulaziz Ibn Saud. The first Saudi National Day was celebrated on September 23, 1965.
This year, Saudi Arabia has unveiled a fresh identity for its 93rd National Day, under the inspiring slogan, "We Dream and We Achieve," in anticipation of the annual September 23rd celebration.
"Our dreams have never ceased since the establishment of this Kingdom, and we will continue to work towards their realization as long as we exist. Let's celebrate our achievements," expressed the official National Day website. The new identity aims to "honor the endeavors and efforts that have culminated in successful initiatives benefiting both citizens and residents," as highlighted by Turki Al al-Sheikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), on the website.
