Saudi National Day Fireworks Illuminate Skies in Saudi Arabia and the UAE

Dazzling fireworks will light up the night skies of Saudi Arabia and the UAE to commemorate the Kingdom's 93rd National Day, creating a spectacular display of colors and festivities. Here's a glimpse of the locations where you can gather with friends and family to enjoy these luminous celebrations during the National Day weekend.

Saudi Arabia: In Saudi Arabia, the Jeddah Promenade will be the epicenter of a breathtaking fireworks extravaganza that promises a captivating array of colors. The open-for-all firework display is scheduled for Saturday, as announced through social media. This display, anticipated to be the largest in the region, will commence at 9 p.m.

The stunning show will be visible from various parts of the Red Sea city, with the prime viewing location being the promenade itself.

Adding to the National Day festivities, residents in Saudi Arabia will also have the opportunity to witness the Royal Guard March at the Jeddah Promenade. Additionally, there will be a range of celebratory activities, including henna stations, face painting booths, and play areas for children, ensuring a wholesome National Day experience for all.

UAE: Dubai Parks and Resorts will host a spectacular fireworks show on September 23. The fireworks are set to light up the sky at 7 p.m., followed by a second show at 9 p.m., according to information available on their website.

Spectators will be treated to a Saudi-themed show adorned with shimmering shades of green and gold, paying homage to the Kingdom's national colors.

Visitors to the venue will also have the opportunity to enjoy various family activities at MOTIONGATE Dubai, LEGOLAND Dubai, and LEGOLAND Water Park, making it a day filled with entertainment and celebration.

History of National Day: Saudi National Day commemorates the historic unification of the Kingdom of Najd and Hijaz in 1932, leading to the formation of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of King Abdulaziz Ibn Saud. The first Saudi National Day was celebrated on September 23, 1965.

This year, Saudi Arabia has unveiled a fresh identity for its 93rd National Day, under the inspiring slogan, "We Dream and We Achieve," in anticipation of the annual September 23rd celebration.

"Our dreams have never ceased since the establishment of this Kingdom, and we will continue to work towards their realization as long as we exist. Let's celebrate our achievements," expressed the official National Day website. The new identity aims to "honor the endeavors and efforts that have culminated in successful initiatives benefiting both citizens and residents," as highlighted by Turki Al al-Sheikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), on the website.
