The 11th Global Gift Gala in Paris: A Night of Glamour and Generosity
Paris, October 2, 2023 - The Global Gift Gala in Paris has firmly established itself as one of France most prestigious events, combining elegance, star power, and unwavering support for charitable causes. The gala, held on September 30th at the iconic Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris, was a night to remember, featuring renowned personalities, awards presentations, and dazzling performances. Maria Bravo, the founder of the Global Gift Foundation, and Eva Longoria Bastón, the honorary president, jointly presided over this remarkable event.
The 11th Global Gift Gala in Paris brought together international celebrities and featured spectacular performances that left the audience spellbound. Lara Fabian, the famous Canadian-Belgian singer, Kendji Girac, the award-winning French singer-songwriter, and Ilyana, a finalist from La Voz Kids France 2023, enchanted the attendees with their captivating performances.
The gala presenters included the actor and presenter Bernard Montiel, television journalist Sandy Heribert, and international Victoria Secret model Maria Borges. Their exceptional talent and charisma contributed to making the evening a resounding success.
Floral artistic director Jeff Leatham created an enchanting atmosphere with his innovative floral arrangements, while renowned chef Christian Le Squer of Le Cinq delighted diners with a symphony of flavors, textures, and aromas.
The live auction, conducted by Camille de Foresta of Christie, featured exceptional works of art by national and international artists, including Richard Orlinski, Jaime Monge, and Auguste, as well as unique experiences. One of the highlights was the auction of "The Playground II," a series of works by artist Jaime Monge, which raised €30,000. These works emphasized the importance of human relationships and caring for one another, especially children, women, and families as the main agents of our future.
Richard Orlinski sculpture, one of the world highest-selling contemporary French artists since 2015, was also auctioned for €40,000.
The Global Gift Awards honored three remarkable individuals:
- Zazou Belounis received the Global Gift Philanthropreneur Award for using his business and influence to transform society through philanthropic and entrepreneurial efforts, aiming to make the world a better place.
- Melissa Theriau was honored with the Global Gift Humanitarian Award for her extraordinary contributions in social and humanitarian services, significantly improving the lives of vulnerable children and families.
Melissa Theriau (premiada), Zazou Belounis (premiado), Eva Longoria, Ken Pavés (premiado), María Bravo - Ken Pavés, renowned hairstylist to celebrities like Victoria Beckham, Eva Longoria, and Jennifer Lopez, received the Global Gift Our Heroes Award in recognition of his inspiring humanitarian work through various philanthropic causes.
