Fines Imposed for Disruptive Behavior Near Saudi Arabian Schools and Educational Buildings

Saudi Arabia, in its pursuit of maintaining public morality and ensuring a conducive learning environment, has introduced strict traffic regulations. The General Directorate of Traffic (Moroor) has recently declared that engaging in any activity while driving that disrupts public peace or making excessive noise using in-car devices constitutes a traffic violation. This initiative is particularly aimed at safeguarding the educational spaces and minimizing disturbances around schools and educational buildings.

The Saudi Moroor, communicating through its official Twitter account, highlighted the adverse effects of creating noise and disturbances near educational institutions. Such disruptions can hinder students' ability to concentrate and learn effectively during their classes. To deter such behavior, the Saudi traffic authority has implemented a system of fines for violators.

Those found guilty of violating these regulations will face penalties ranging from 300 riyals to 500 riyals, as confirmed by the Saudi traffic authority. This move aims to encourage drivers to be more considerate and cautious, especially in the vicinity of schools, for the safety of students.

In addition to the fine for disruptive behavior, the Moroor also emphasized the importance of not bypassing school buses. This rule is enforced to ensure the safety of children who frequently embark and disembark from school buses. It is crucial for drivers to exercise caution and remain patient when following a school bus, as it frequently stops to allow students to board and alight safely.

The General Traffic Department further encouraged drivers to adhere to traffic instructions when transporting students, emphasizing the importance of guiding them on exiting the vehicle from the right side, which enhances their overall safety.

These measures are part of the "Back To School" campaign initiated by the Saudi Moroor following the reopening of schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The campaign aims to create a secure and respectful environment for education, allowing students to focus on their studies without unnecessary disruptions.

In conclusion, Saudi Arabia's General Directorate of Traffic (Moroor) has introduced fines for those who engage in disruptive behavior near schools and educational buildings, underscoring the significance of public morality and the need for an undisturbed learning environment for students. This initiative serves as a reminder to all drivers to exercise caution, respect traffic regulations, and prioritize the safety and well-being of students during their daily commute.
