Your next sustainable getaway in Saudi Arabia is on the horizon with NEOM Leyja, and you have to see it to believe it.
NEOM's latest mega-project will be situated on the Gulf of Aqaba, a natural oasis historically shaped by the winds, 400 meters above the mountains, providing a natural backdrop to this sustainable endeavor in the northwest of Saudi Arabia.
With the aim of becoming a versatile destination, 95% of Leyja will be preserved for nature, combining innovative and eco-friendly designs that seamlessly blend into the landscape.
And now, three new hotels with strikingly futuristic designs are being unveiled as part of the "city of the future" in Saudi Arabia, a $500 billion project. The Leyja establishments will prioritize sustainability and will comprise a total of 120 distinctive rooms and suites, with each hotel featuring 40 keys.
The opening dates for the NEOM Leyja hotels have not yet been disclosed, so stay tuned for the latest updates. NEOM Leyja hotels: what we know so far. The first hotel will be tailor-made for thrill-seekers and adventure enthusiasts, featuring a deconstructed design along the wadi walls, resembling a staircase. The property will blend into the cliff and valley sides, offering opportunities for rock climbing and other breathtaking experiences. The next hotel will emerge from the rocks and perch atop the wadi's largest oasis, serving as a gateway for exploration via an impressive staircase that ascends directly into the canyon.
The final hotel is dedicated to relaxation and rejuvenation, with an immersive wellness retreat showcasing a high-tech, reflective facade mirroring the surrounding landscape and valley walls, creating a natural passage through the wadi.
NEOM Leyja: activities and events. The new destination will also offer experiences and activities for guests to enjoy, including fine-dining and contemporary restaurants led by renowned chefs, wellness facilities, rooftop infinity pools across all three hotels, guided wadi walks, and hiking trails with scenic views of the mountainous landscape.
